British Fire Service v British Police - Match Result

The British Fire Service squad was selected from players from Wales, Ireland, Scotland and England. The initial selection had four West Country players, Dan Kemmish Devon & Somerset, Dave Moyle and James Jago (pictured right) from Cornwall, and Captain Ben Slatter from Gloucestershire.

The match was played at Swansea RFC on Wednesday 27 February under floodlights.

A very fast game ensued with the lead changing hand virtually every five minutes. Cornwall's James Jago scored a try under the post with a great assisted pass from Dave Moyle.

The final five minutes saw the British Police score and convert a try to clinch the game by 1 point, 29 - 28.
