Welcome to the 2009/2010 Season Webpages |
Dateline: 3rd June 2009
From Tom Prout,
Cornwall RFU Webmaster.
It may appear to some to be rather early to be talking about the 2009/2010 season - indeed the Cornwall RFU has not yet had its end of 2008/2009 season Annual General Meeting - but past experience has indicated that now is a good time to be looking ahead.
Usually there is much being planned throughout the summer in the build up to the 2009/2010 season so the point has been reached where marking time is not good enough. It is time to start to look forward to, and planning for, the coming season.
Changes have been made to the website, but not many. The biggest change is in the menu on the left-hand side of the page. The previous layout proved to be too fragmented. The individual news, clubs and refereeing pages have been dropped and there is now a progression of news items from the homepage latest news, through the in-date pages, then all this season pages to the archived pages. In short, everything you need to know from the 2006/2007 season onwards by selecting just one of four options.
Other changes are the expansion of the Mini/Junior pages to include that group's standard forms for downloading, and the introduction of a picture gallery. The rugby development pages have been retained but will now contain only items associated with that topic. Both rugby development and mini/Junior topics will be mirrored in the main news pages. The links pages stay as they were except for a tidying up of broken or changed URLs.
Welcome to the 2009/2010 season webpages.
Tom Prout,
Cornwall RFU webmaster.
