To all Coach/Manager i/c U15 Rugby

Re: U15 Rugby Day, Thursday 3rd December, Truro Rugby Football Club.

I am writing to request your assistance in the identification of potential county rugby players for the forthcoming Cornwall Schools Under 15 season. As a team of coaches we are arranging an afternoon of matches whereby players will come along and play in a competitive game(s). Could you please take the time to consider and then nominate the Under 15 players at your club that you feel are capable of playing county standard rugby?

The structure of the afternoon will be as follows:

• 12:00pm arrival at Truro Rugby Football Club. Players will be organised into playing positions and then teams.
   

• 1:00pm - 4:15pm Games. Games will be half an hour in length playing one way, ensuring all players are given a fair opportunity to demonstrate their ability.
   
• 4:30pm Depart. Selectors and coaches will be present on the day to start to establish a rank order of players. However, no actual selection for county teams will take place on the day as this will only form part of the selection process. So players are free to leave after the final game has finished.

Please inform players they will need to come prepared with full playing kit (shirt, shorts, socks, studded boots and gum shield), a tracksuit/waterproof clothing and water bottle is also highly recommended.

For your information, a copy if this letter has also been sent to all schools within the county, so therefore some players will already be aware of this event. However, as a team of coaches we are keen to keep the clubs closely involved with the nominations of players as well.
