Dateline: 9th February 2010 From Mike Bratt, RBS RugbyForce, a nationwide initiative for renovating UK rugby clubs, has been launched by RBS 6 Nations Championship sponsor The Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS). RBS RugbyForce encourages communities to give something back to their local rugby club by volunteering to undertake improvements to clubhouses and grounds. The RBS RugbyForce weekend (5th & 6th June) will bring together club members, family, friends and supporters in one big weekend of activity to help with the required renovations at their local club. Between registration and the final weekend event, RBS is providing all clubs with tips and planning documents on budgeting, organising resources and raising local awareness for the RBS RugbyForce weekend projects. Local RBS branch staff members are also being enlisted to help strengthen the volunteer forces as part of RBS's existing community volunteering programme. Full details can be found HERE.
