It is with great sadness that I have to inform the Cornwall rugby family that our President, John Grindle, passed away this afternoon. John will be sadly missed by all involved in rugby in Cornwall.

John was very proud to be the President of the CRFU; no more so then when the Cornwall team lifted the County Championship Trophy last May.

The CRFU sends its sincere condolences to Joyce and the Family.

The Cornwall RFU U20s in the first of two pool matches, played old rivals Gloucestershire RFU U20s at Camborne RFC today.

Cornwall playing with great pride in the shirt, gained revenge over the county that put Cornwall to the sword the last time the teams met.  On this occasion it was Cornwall's turn to build a large score to take the spoils.

Today's Result:  Cornwall RFU U20  34 : 19  Gloucestershire RFU U20

Cornwall U20 now move on the there next pool match on Sunday 25th January 2015 against Devon U20 at Ivybridge RFC .
