Cornish players feature for the Rose

With the Guinness 6 Nations drawing to a close, it is worth recalling the Cornish players who have been involved in this season's championship.

Jack Nowell and Luke Cowan-Dickie have been regulars in Eddie Jones' squads and both feature again today in the Calcutta Cup match against Scotland at Twickenham to bring down the curtain on this season's tournament.

In the Under 20s Alfie Petch (Bude) has been involved. Another fine prospect at prop who is with Exeter Chiefs.

Outside of the 6 Nations we have had three Cornish Women (pictured) involved with England Women Under 20s,  Charlie Budge, Merryn Doidge and Ebony Jefferies, all play at Bristol Bears. Congratulations to all three as they face France Women Under 20s at Newbury.

Well done to one and all for flying the Cornish colours at International level.

Thanks to Will Doidge for the picture taken at Newbury RFC on Saturday.
