Cornwall Too Strong For Somerset

Cornwall U18 put in a good solid performance in their first build up game of the U18 championship season.  On a beautiful sunny day at St Austell RFC, a perfect day for flowing, running rugby, the "Black & Gold" ran in 7 tries against their Somerset counterparts.  With some last minute call-ups due to injuries within the squad, it was always going to be a test to see how the squad could gel, with the new players coming in.

The 43 - 7 win gives the Cornish boys a confident start to their campaign with lots of positives, but also gives the coaches plenty to work on before their next game, against closest rivals Devon on Sun 11th Oct at Oakhampton RFC (11:15am KO)
