Lucy Demaine Crosses for England Women

Well done to Lucy who came off the bench to make her debut for England Women to score England's fifth try!

Congratulations to Lucy Demaine who has been named on the bench for the Six Nations opener against Scotland at the Broadwood Stadium, Cumbernauld on Friday 5th February, K.O. 6.00 p.m. The game will be shown live on England Rugby TV.

Lucy started her rugby career aged 7 at Liskeard Looe RFC and then Liskeard Leopards WRFC, played representative rugby for Cornwall, captaining u15s and u18s sides, as well as playing for the South West Region, before moving to University to read Medicine. Aged 15, she was part of the original England U18s TDG and played for the U20s as well as the highly successful Exeter University XV and 7’s sides, winning BUCS Gold in both forms of the game, whilst playing her club rugby with Bristol Ladies.

We wish Lucy well and hope that she gains her first full England cap on Friday as she sets out on her full international career.
