Veor RFC Support Camborne Food Bank

A splendid example of how Cornish rugby clubs are upholding the ethos and values of the game is the recent work of Veor RFC.

On a weekly basis Veor have been collecting food from Club members and taking it to the Camborne Food Bank. As we all know there is a national and certainly a local issue with poverty and lack of food for people and it is heart-warming to see one of our rugby clubs doing its bit.

The CPR Food Bank is a local charity distributing food to those who need it most in the Camborne, Pool Redruth area of Cornwall. They have over 50 volunteers helping weekly to distribute around 23,000 meals to over 540 families.
