Here's the round up of media coverage of the finals tomorrow:

Live Radio:

BBC Radio Cornwall will be broadcasting live from Twickenham on Sunday from 2pm. 103.9/95.2FM and online.

Commentators will include Dick Straughan, Peter Richmond, Ross Ellis, and Jack Murley.

If you can't get to a radio, the BBC iPlayer page for BBC Radio Cornwall is:http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/player/bbc_radio_cornwall

Live TV:

Sky have the rights.  Unfortunately, it appears that we won't be blessed with Sky Sports coverage this weekend.  Sky:

"we aren't showing the game. It does fall on a very busy weekend and we have live sport on all five channels all afternoon."

But, On-Demand highlights may still be available:  Sky:

"We will investigate as to whether we'll have on demand highlights available for you"

TV Highlights:

We have been informed that Sky has given other TV stations permission to film 'cut-aways' for news reports.

Credit goes to Redruth Rugby for reporting the status of Sky coverage. Posted here.

Ben Cleared for Twickers Final PDF Print Email
Written by CRFU Administrator

Mixed feelings following last night's disciplinary hearing.  On the one side, it was great news to learn that Ben Hilton's case was dismissed and see that he is now clear to play in the Bill Beaumont County Championship finals on Sunday.  Known amongst the team as the "Cornish Granite", Ben's presence on the pitch on Sunday will be greatly welcomed by all.

However, the positive result for Ben was tempered by the disappointing news that Barrie-John Chapman received an 8 week ban, barring him from the finals on Sunday.  This result is all the more frustrating, following Cornwall's win over Herts last weekend.

Our gratitude to both Barry, Ben and all the team for helping to get Cornwall to the finals and our commiserations to Baza that he won't be able to join his team mates on the field on Sunday.
